The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr.Emomali Rakhmon, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the memorial complex of Islam Karimov in Samarkand.

They laid flowers at the tomb of the First President of our country and said surahs from the Koran.

Everyday this place is visited by hundreds of our compatriots and foreign guests. There are a lot of guests from Tajikistan among them.

Honoring the memory of the First President of our country by the President of Tajikistan has become the embodiment of respect for our people.

It is worthy to notice that Emomali Rakhmon took part in the funeral ceremony of Islam Karimov as well. He also was debriefed what was done to renovate the Samarkand memorial complex after the funeral.
