October. The first output of the new fertilizer Ufaks was produced at Almalyk chemical factory. It was developed by scientists of the Institute of chemistry. 

November 15. The session of the coordinating economic council of entrepreneurial unions and associations of sovereign republics and states opened in Tashkent.

November 27. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received a delegation of trade-economic representatives from Pakistan headed by the minister of economics Sardar Asef Ahmad Ali. A decree of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on further strengthening dekhkan (farmer) activity and state support for entrepreneurs was issued. 

December. The Navoi metallurgical combine produced the first batch of unique high quality universal lathes with electric controls Nt-200.
