Spiritual and enlightenment event “Islam Karimov – the architect of our independence”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the great state and political figure, the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov’s birth was held on the initiative of Kashkadarya regional council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan. 

– Islam Karimov was the initiator and leader of large-scale reforms, creative work and historical transformations in the country, – said chairman of Kashkadarya regional department of “Nuroniy” foundation Yanvar Inoyatov. – He was the founder of Uzbekistan’s independence, a major state figure who developed the program and the path of independent development of the republic, the main author of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, fully in line with international norms, the organizer of its implementation. He directly supervised the creative work in all regions of the country, in particular, on improvement of pilgrimage places, construction of large enterprises, transformation of cities’ and villages’ appearance. 

Within the framework of the event, a photo exhibition was organized, a documentary film was shown. They highlight the work and political activities of the First President of our country Islam Karimov. 

Performances, dedicated to the memory of the First President, of the People’s bakhshi of Uzbekistan Kakhor-bakhshi Rakhimov, poet Turdi Khaydar and members of “Istedod chorlovi” school of the regional council of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan were held.
